Insta shove, although I would have led out on the flop and bet the turn also.

weird indeed, I dunno what to do here... higher set?

I just call here if hes decent.

EDIT: Oh wait he open limped on the button lol, I shove but calling is ok.

There is no hand the button can have that would make him a decent player, but I still just call.

I can't see any suits so I am assuming no flush out there. Seems to me like he may well have 2 pair here. I would probably shove if I was playing the hand, but given time to think, that might not be the best play, but I'm not sure. I definitely don't fold though.

The button called the PF raise same as you but bet the flop knowing any Ace/draw would call, turns a blank, he checks behind to disguise his set, river a blank and RR with higher set.

    I fold.

Is my logic is off the mark? condemn at will.

It could easily be a rivered set of 7s, but I think I still shove here.

He calls the preflop raise with a small pp (7s maybe 8s). when ye check the flop he decides to represent the A. you call so he gets worried and checks the turn, then hits a miracle on the river. Alternatively he hits his set on the turn and checks hoping for a river bet from you.

The problem is its .5/1 and you have totally disguised (misplayed :) ) your hand, so he could just have easily have A8, A7.

I suppose a call is the safest option here, but I would still probably shove (the gambler in me coming out).

Id call, maybe a re-raise on the flop would have put him under pressure/given you some info?? On the button he is surely going to raise when its checked to him whatever he has.

    I would never fold.

I'd shove as he'll call with plenty of worse hands for an extra $40

Probably just call unless you know they can make a hero call with something marginal.

i thought it was a weird spot, like he bet the flop as a bluff and rivered a set or something. but i pushed anyway and my hand was no good. i take it everyone esle was calling/shoving too.

I think shoving here is really bad, its a choice between folding and calling. His hand is going to be a set or a bluff virtually all the time.

I think 99% of people are playing this, after the way it played out you need to have a pretty solid read to have them on better than a set, although I think they will only call a shove with a better hand (maybe top two if they some how ended up with that) unless they are a fan of throwing away money.

Just call as played, but I'd have bet somewhere earlier.

OK PL, where are we with this? I'm the only goone folding, everyone else is lumpping it or calling.

    Blip = Tight Weaky

Well he open limped on the button so he could easily have some sort of 2 pair on this board. Obviously a straight is possible too but I don't think shoving is too bad here.
