I was wondering if I can use my Gamecube Freeloader to play my US GC games on Wii. If not is there a 'Wiiloader' in the works and will that work with US GC games?

It depends on what version of freeloader you have. The newest one does but older versions don't.

There is another way of getting import games to work if your freeloader doesn't work. It involves swapping out a PAL disc and putting in an import disc just before it loads. The timing is crucial but you can become a dab hand at it quite quickly. The only problem is that it might wear the disc drive out but there is no evidence I've seen to prove it. Google for the method. It definitely works but might take time to master it.

This method doesn't work with all games but there is a way I've found to get all my problem games to load. You can use the disc swapping method to load the non-working freeloader (which will load using this method) and then swap in the import game in the normal way. However it's a pain since you are swapping 3 discs for 1 game and the freeloader screen is a bit glitchy graphics wise. I'm using my GC until I get through my import games.

Which reminds me, I have to get Baten Kaitos Origins before I'm entirely satisfied with my GC collection.

i do that method with my super smash bros game because its way cheaper than getting a freeloader it just takes timing and a little skill
