I want to get a screen grab of a webpage.
Im writing user instructions for a webpage but I cant fit the page into one page or one photo using print screen cause the page is bigger than the screen.

Is there any way of getting a screen grab of a page thats bigger than the screen and shrinking it down?

Im not sure how to capture the whole page, even bits outside the view of the screen but you could probably do a "File - Save Page As..." in your browser menu and that usually saves the page and all files associated with it into a folder on your machine. You might be able to use it in that format then perhaps?

Its possible that there is screen capture software that will do what you need but thats my suggestion anyway, hope its helpful...

if you have office 2003 or newer you should have a fake printer that can print as an image

or get pdfcreator from sourcefourge and set it up as a jpg or something

yeah printing a web page isn't exactly WYSIWYG but it will be bigger than the screen

    press crtl-alt-print screen together...

go into a picture editing program.... paint will do

    paste the image in there

    go back to IE...

    scroll down the page...

    take a screen shot again...

    back into paint

adjust the picture size and increase the height by 100%

paste again and align so that it looks correct

    repeat if necessary

try holding Ctrl and minus in internet explorer 7, this will allow you to zoom out and the see the webpage in one screen. Only things is if you zoom out too much the text becomes unreadable.
