Anyhow not sure if quite road rage as such. I was driving the car this morning do short commute from childs school to getting on my bike to go into work. I call into a garage who only have one unleaded pump working in the whole station so anyhow go to free pumps on left to see no pumps there so reverse back. There is a car at the only working pump so put on the indicator wait my time about 5 mins, woman comes back gets in car to go out. So just as I am about to pull in a small van pulls in straight off the road into the spot, I tell him I have been there 5 mins waiting the guy is completely ignorant would not move. I let him no in no uncertain terms was not happy but still did not move. Luckily did not let it go further but boy was I not happy. It was probally the first time I have really lost it on the roadish - anyone had similar road rage incidents. Anyway rant over had to get it off my chest.

yesterday evening this guy in a people carrier on his mobile fone, had his daughter sitting beside him, as he was driving, i was following him for a minute or two kept the revs up around 6K - 7 K and he passed no remarks, so i pulled along side and shouted @ him to get off his fcuking mobile as it was illegal.

The blank look i got back said it all

I usually maintain some sort of calmness on the road but the other night on the M50,stuck in traffic, idling along,I end up behind a young girl. What annoyed me immensly was that she daweld at 15KPH,even if the traffic infront took a spurt. With the result she left a gap of 1/4 km between her and the car in front and made no effort to keep up with traffic,so cars where jumping in our lane. I eventually lost the rag and undertook her, she's probably still there.

Driving slowly in traffic is a method for not using your clutch and generally saving wear and tear on your car. Granted you don't really leave that big a gap, but I do it myself sometimes when I've been in traffic for a long time and my left foot is killing me or when I'm feeling lazy. Just let it drive on idle. Did you get very far ahead of her?

Yes I did actually, as did several other cars. Taking it handy and giving the foot a rest is one thing, but not progressing with the traffic flow is downright criminal:) I got an auto to save my left foot, works wonders.
