    Spidey 4?

    the standout quote:
As Raimi sees the next installment, according to MTV: "I would love to see Electro, Vulture, maybe the Sinister Six as a team."

    erm......awesome?

    You'd think he'd learn...

Two of the Six were Octopus (presumed dead and ended up good in the end) and Sandman (again, good in the end). Bad idea all together.

Spiderman 3 was rubbish. Just goes to show if you throw enough money at something, doesn't matter how poor it is, they'll keep making em.

Judging by the type of humour in Raimi's films (and from his interviews) I would be surprised if this was a little tongue in cheek swipe at all 'net criticism he's getting for having to many villians in Spiderman 3...

I think he meant that they were villians he'd love to see, not necessarily all of them in one movie

Raimi by all accounts was against having so many villans in the third film but was overridden by the studio.

What i heard was that he wanted Sandman and Harry/Goblin in it, in order to round off the story from the first 2 movies - then it was pointed out by a lot of people that Venom is one of the most popular vilians in the spidey universe, and it would be insane not to have him, so he was just thrown in. Really. From the interview Rami gave, he didn't want venom in it and didn't know how to put him in it (and boy did it show)

Venom deserved a full movie as the main villain. If Raimi wasn't up to the job, then get someone else.
... I hear Michael Bay likes action movies ;)
