A "car boot sale" for cars ?

Is there such a thing ?

Outside most bigger towns/cities in Germany every weekend or at least once a month, somebody provides a big carpark, charges you a fiver (or so) in and you display your private car for private sale.

Well ...and then you or you don't ...sell it, that is.

Anything like that anywhere in Ireland?

Wouldn't it be great if one could coax a big organistion like buy&sell or maybe even an insurance company to host and sponsor something like that?

Once a month in every province ?

thats a great idea... the car dealers would hate it!
I'm sure theres some big car park around you thats empty on a sunday..

(although it might turn into a suped up enthusiast hangout)
