Loss of Signal--Vista Media Center

hey i have a vaio laptop (vgn-c2z) and just bought this tv tuner

    http://tven.terratec.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=236

I downloaded and installed the new drivers as well as the hotfix needed for the audio. Everything has set up correctly, vista recognised the tuner and the media center downloaded the guide, but whenever i try and watch live tv it goes black for a few seconds and then the screen goes blue displaying a message telling me that it has stopped capturing video because of a loss of signal

it seems to work perfectly under the terratec home cinema program and the signal is strong enough to work with mce 2005.

this is driving me absolutely mad so i was just wondering if anybody had any ideas as to what was causing the problem?

    thanks a mill

To be honest no idea but it sounds to me like the driver wasn't ready to come out of the oven yet.

Try asking over at The Green Button forums someone else might have had a similar problem or know of a workaround.

The only other suggestion I can make is to update your graphics card drivers (if it's a laptop GPU then that is still possible what make is it ?) and check Windows Update & download everything on it as there are a few media center fixes up their.
