Met this guy off the net quite recently, had been chatting, texting and emailing for quite some time! We went on first date and although nervous at first we got on great and kissed at the end of the night.
We arranged to meet up again the next time both of us were free and at the end of this date I agreed to go back to his. We slept together, it wasn't the best sex either of us had ever had but definately enjoyable! The next day he dropped me home and kissed me goodbye.
Then a couple of hours later I get a text saying that he couldn't see me again that clearly I must be a complete slut to just sleep with him after two days and he didn't wanna be with a girl like that! I was shocked! Why would a guy volunteer to sleep with me and then be angry about it? We know each other around three months before this! I don't understand!

guys will volunteer to sleep with ANYONE, maybe he thought you wouldnt give in so easily??
a bit of advice that would solve a lot of PI problems:
all girls are evil, all men are b@stards, deal with it.

He's a dickhead and you had a lucky escape finding out sooner rather than later. I wouldn't even bother replying to him, he obviously has problems of his own if he's carrying on like that.

    What a complete moron.

Forget him, you're not a slut imo.

My gf and I slept together after the second night we kissed.

Oh, and don't let this idiot put you off men, chalk it up to experience and move on.

    Well he sounds charming!

Forget about him, move on etc. Plenty of nice guys out there...

Agreed wholeheartedly on both counts. This man has some twisted sense of reality/morality. You're better off.

just forget him girl and move on. what a loser.

Have to agree with the others, this is obviously some sort of game to him, best to find out now, chalk it up and move on, and I wouldn't give his opinion of you any credence either as he is hardly in the position to point a finger, also if he is a member of an online community / forum I would let others know what he is like, caveat emptor and all that. Don't let it get you down and keep looking.

LOL - at least he was honest and told rather then have you hanging on waiting for a phone call or text message wondering what you did wrong. go back to your dating site and post this on the message board so he he cant do it to anyone else. classic story though

What a complete tosser. He either doesn't believe what he said and is covering up some kind of fear or insecurity, or he does believe it in which case... wow, what a moron.

I've slept with girls on the first date. Didn't matter the least.
This guy obviously has some issues.

He's a dick. Not your fault. Chalk it up as a bad, and unfortunate, experience and move on. Sucks, but some people are just arse-holes.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 126 ✭✭bandit*baby

ok first things first like the other posters said your not a slut he's just a muppet what a tosser

I slept with my now bf the first night we kissed, its something that i'd never ever do, but just felt right. He doesn't think any less of me for it, he knows I never made a habit of it, :o
    Your better off without him.

Your not a slut,if we were to call you a slut half of the world would be called one-me included!! :D

Don't worry about him and forget about him.;)

    Lucky escape OP!

Lucky escape IMO. For him to sleep with you and then text that you are a slut. Totally psycho!!

Your better off without him by the sounds of it. Your not a slut, he just has issues.

He's an idiot and obviously has HUGE issues to react like this. Move on. And be wary of internet dating in the future. I honestly think you only sense what a person is like when you spend time with them face to face. A lot of people have a fake persona online.

I really feel for you, but honestly, its his problem not yours.

I wouldnt worry about it, he sounds like a bit of a weirdo- maybe he was lookin for a way to get out of it because he felt inadequate in the bedroom department...

dont question urself he's obvioulsy just an idiot.

post his url for the site u met him on and we can all give him stick lol, just kiddin, please dont ban me...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 257 ✭✭MrMojoRising

personally, i think you are a bit of a slut.
u had sex with some guy u met off the net on ur second date with him.
i don't blame him for not respecting u, i wouldn't. and i know for a fact that very few guys would respect u either. try and wait til at least the third date next time. if u can, that is

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 515 ✭✭✭St Bill

Well said, MrMojoRising. In fact OP, why not go the whole hog and just not have sex with people at all?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,518 ✭✭✭✭dudara

    StBill and MrMojoRising - behave.

MrMojoRising's opinion may have not been expressed in the most polite opinion, but at the same time, I can't see anything wrong with his fundamental sentiment - That some men don't like women to sleep with them too soon.

To the OP, it sounds like he just trawled the net looking for someone to have a quick shag with. Sorry that it was you, but you're as well without him.

Seconded. I think he's just taking his short-comings (again, no pun intended, etc) out on you.

Chalk it up, learn from it, move onward.

you were lucky you didnt need up with him. guys who have double standards like this deserve to be back in the 50s where they belong and can no longer bother us.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,238 ✭✭✭humbert

I'd say it's quite likely he felt insecure about a poor performance and slashed out. When people display such irrational bitterness it's usually insecurity at the heart of it.

IMO men who 'don't like women to sleep with them too soon' are idiots.

If a man doesn't want to have sex, he doesn't have to. It's not as if the girl raped him is it?

FFS, double standards, alive and well in 2007.

StBill and MrMojoRising - Grow up lads.

Op, your better off without him, I wouldnt have even replyed to his patetic message.

Kinda have to agreed with Mr. Mojo, everyone knows you dont have sex with someone you like, you have a wait a bit longer then a second date

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 780 ✭✭✭Blackpitts

it sounds like a stupid excuse to dump you, feel safe and move to the next girl for a shag.
ignore him, you will meet a nice guy soon ;)

oh ffs!! seriously just read that again..........................
do you realise how idiotic it sounds??!
    grow up.

you don't have sex with someone you like? eh why exactly?
stupid stupid mind games, having sex with a guy isn't gonna change how either of you feel about each other, if it does well hes not much of a loss.

jebus its women with attitutes like you that make my blood boil. sex is not some illusive commodity that a guy should be grateful to recieve. its just sex.
Delibrately not having sex with someone you really like because 'its only our second date' is utter rubbish! its a natural thing if feels right and it happens then it happens.

Unless the guy is a complete weirdo as in the ops case or a complete bloody caveman who thinks women have less right to get some action than a man as in MrMojoRisings case it won't make any difference to his feelings towards you.'

Pinkprincess26, I don't agree with MrMojoRising's sentiment in any way.
It makes me laugh to think that there are men out there who call women sluts just because they slept with them. Going by that logic, that means that those men are worse because they 'demeaned' themselves by sleeping with these so called 'sluts'

come on grasshopa, can you honestly say you'd respect a girl if she slept with you on the 2nd date.........

eh Carole he also slept with her, ffs it takes 2 people to have sex. Therefore you cant judge someone for doing exactly what you did, and if you do its called hyprocisy!!!!! the guy is an asshole you had a lucky escape IMHO!!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 49 CaroleLynch

FFS we all know double standards exist.....!!! A guy is a stud and a girl is a slut....... so us girls should learn to keep our knickers on until we've had several dates......... especially if you like the guy and want it to develop into something....

I agree he is an absolute moron but why do we girls act SO surprised when it happens...... it's been like this since the stone age.......

Attitudes like yous allow double standards to still exsist imo.

OP as others have said your not a slut, i wouldn't reply to him and just try move on. He's clearly not worth stressing over.

yeah but if a guy (and potential partner) has antique double standards, its better to find out sooner rather than later. Mind games dont help in the long run in my experience, if you feel comfortable having sex with someone then do if you dont dont.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 41,926 ✭✭✭✭_blank_

Yes, she's my girlfriend now. I love her, and she loves me.

We ha sex after first date, the harlot.

There are ingrained anachronistic notions that it's incumbent on a girl to stay chased, the sooner men and woman can really accept that sex isn't wrong, whether it's casual or in the throws of love, it's simply a personal choice. silly, silly, society.

There's simply something wrong with him, that's it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,882 ✭✭✭Mighty_Mouse

I always find it stange for a person to say they've "known someone for 3 months" etc etc
And it then turns out that it was an internet relationship!!!

He's either crazy or taking full advantage of the www for getting laid handy.

I've had plenty of one night stands but i dont think i ever really wanted to see them afterwards more than 2 or 3 times. My ex girlfriend who i was mad about for 4 years made me wait 6 months. I was about to explode but think i liked her more for it
