I am wondering is it worth my while downloading the latest version, go on, sell it to me, why should I download the latest version:D

    Cheers,

Cuz Virtua Racing is working 100% you clod!!!! A lot of new games emulated lately are based on Neo-Geo type hardware like King Of Fighters 2003 or Metal Slug 5 & 6. I haven't gone near MAME in a while cuz with all the hocus pocus with a brilliant Model 2 emulator that plays games like Daytona USA and House Of The Dead perfect AND the new CPS3 emulator that plays all the Street Fighter 3 games, Warzard and Jojo perfectly. Branch out man!!

The new version of MAME (.116u2) supports CPS3 but you have to get CHD files along with the ROMs when the CPS3 emulator I stated above doesn't need CHD's to run the games :D

Metal Slug X & 3 FTW!!! Can't beat Daytona USA either, dunno why it's so addictive! Not even Need For Speed games are that interesting to me though the series has degenerated into a boy racer cock **** dream!

See if your eyes can handle Dodonpachi.

Is STV emulation working yet? Try Soukyugurentai, last I checked it worked but was painfully slow.

Nah, I'm keeping it old school with my lowly single processor on my laptop. Though I have the 1 Gig RAM and pretty good ATI Radeon PCI Express graphics card to balance it out.

It's an emulator that, er, emulates a specific board by Sega. Games such as House Of The Dead, Sega Rally, and, or course, Daytona USA!

Git yer ass over there now, boy!!!

Good stuff... I plan to order a new laptop later this year and I'll concentrate on disk space and memory to fit all this stuff on it. If only laptop would overheat so much :D

I have grabbed the two emulators, but all I have being hearing is that you need a dual core to run the games at full speed, is this ture?

Could anyone pm me a few links to get me going with the roms? I am reading that a lot of sites provide fake dumps and dont work. Shouldnt these games be like 150MB each?

Are you on about Model 2? If you are then somebody is blowing shíte, as is the usual case on the net! Model 2 roms are relatively small ranging from 10 to 30MB

CPS3 Roms are roughly 24 - 40MB (Use Nebula's CPS3 emulator cuz MAME requires you have the CHD's, that and MAME's version will be more intensive so you're likely to have problems)

You don't need Dual Core for these emulators, EL Seimi has his emu's set up so that one is for single processor while the other is for dual core (multithreading application) I have a single processor on my laptop and I've no problem with any of the games (tiny, tiny sound issue with Daytona USA but it dosen't bother me!)

And as for Roms, Google is your best friend. You just gotta know how to type the right words into the engine.

    SF3 emulated!!

    Gimme gimme gimme.

    Finally!

Dunno how that got under my radar,

Thought the CPS3 roms were still encrypted and stuff

Someone cracked the encryption. I've been playing it all the time :)
