Just wondering if anybody has had any experience with both of these phones? I had the Treo 750v - unfortunately it had a bit of an accident and i'm now back using my Nokia N70.

Need to decide whether to buy the Treo again or try the new Nokia E61i.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I would go for the Nokia E61i, since I find Symbian to be very good, and I love this particular form factor.

    Thanks Urban,

Have you used both? Do you currently use an E61i?
If so, what's the battery life like?

Battery life on both is like most new 3G phones. Charge every night to be sure
I have used both and I am currently on the E61i. Probably prefer it to the Treo 750v but then again I am a bit of a Symbian sucker even though it can be quite slow at times.

Also used the E61 and to be honest, other than the camera, theres not a whole lot worth paying extra for

The battery life on the E61/E61i is great. I charge it twice a week, and that's even though I use both 3G and wifi on it!

If I don't use wifi I can go for a week without needing to recharge. It's got the best battery life of any smart phone I have used so far.

The E61i has an updated design, is slightly thinner, has a camera, updated keypad and 5-way button instead of joystick, etc..

If you don't need the camera, there isn't really much difference, and you can save a few bob for going with the plain old E61.
