Will this laptop run vista ok?

    Hey people my friend is thinking of getting this laptop
    Do you think it will run vista ok on 1gb?
    and is it good value for money at that price? it is in Canadian dollars but once tax is added on works out about that price in euros.
    He is thinking of upgrading the harddrive but would he be better off boosting the processor or Ram.,
