    i am looking to loose weight around chest and stomach area. when i was a child i was chubby but as i got older i lost weight except for around my chest and stomach. i am now 18 and starting a gym tomorrow. i am wondering if there are any exercises that target the chest area especially.

    When you are losing fat, your body does not discriminate between the different regions - you must simply lose fat in general through diet and exercise and it will naturally disappear from your chest and stomach. There are exercises you can do to build muscle in these areas but you should have a read of the stickies and over the recent threads and you will see consistent advice on starting out in the gym.
