    Anyone else suffering from bad ping times with UTV internet? Here's my ping.

    Pinging www.boards.ie [89.234.66.107] with 32 bytes of data:

    Request timed out.

    Reply from 89.234.66.107: bytes=32 time=746ms TTL=57
    Reply from 89.234.66.107: bytes=32 time=547ms TTL=57

    Ping statistics for 89.234.66.107:
    Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 3, Lost = 1 (25% loss),
    Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
    Minimum = 547ms, Maximum = 834ms, Average = 709ms

    Normally it's sub 50 even sub 40ms sometimes.

    I am also on UTV and have had appalling speeds (with constant resets/time outs) since Friday morning.

    I am on UTV in Kildare, about 1km from exchange and get the following:

    That's about as good as I get, so it might be your line, I noticed the 25% packet loss.

    Its OK for me now, I had a couple of disconnects earlier
