    hey,
im new to this forum and pretty new to photography!

i have a fuji s5500 and was wondering does any one know what the best setting would be to get decent shots of the planes?
im going to the salthill airshow and want to get some good shots of the jets. I have been using the different modes but would like to try and use the program, shutter and aperture modes to get better shots.
any advice as to what shutter speed, aperture setting would produce some good pics?

Go for as wide an aperture that'll still let you get decent shutterspeeds really! Becareful not to underexpose the planes moreso than anything. Good luck!
