    would a compound and polish fix the swirls and dullness you get from those awful automated carwashs?

    let a pro do the buffering for you, cause there is a chance you can make it worse.

    QFT. I've seen many a car made a whole lot worse because of someone who simply 'thought' that they knew what they were doing.

    If you're unsure get a pro to do it.

    EDIT : Swirls are usually the sign of a bad handwash/polish job in the past. Rollover washes don't generally cause swirls.

    Easy enough do it yourself. Bright day, go easy and check and re-check your work. Quite difficult to damage paintwork with polishing cream and a soft cloth.

    Have brought several cars back to almost new looking.
