Travelling around Tibet

Just wondering if anybody has managed to travel around Tibet since the protest finished. You can get a permit for Lhasa pretty handily but its getting outside and travelling around the rest of the country is the problem.

how did you find getting a visa for Tibet? Will be in China towards the end of the year and would really like to head to Tibet for a few weeks
