I recelently bought a ludwig supraphonic hammered bronze snare drum and it is very nice, yet no matter how tight i have the snares there is a buzz when i hit the drum. The clossest i have got to fixing the problem is by changing the snares but it did not make too much of a difference.

    Any Ideas?:D

Odd. Do you have the wires in upsidedown? The full length of the snares should be in contact with the skin. Try tightening the bottom skin too, if it is too loose it will also vibrate and cause noise.
