I have no router, and i really dont plan on buying one just for my wii, just wondering if i can do it with a netgear ma111 usb wireless network card which runs 802.11b.. I should by rights be able to set a server up or something that will take in any information tahts needed from the wii and send it off to where ever im playing right?

I can't really makse sense of what you're saying, but if you don't have a wireless router then the wifi won't work with the Wii. The Wii has a built in wireless adapater so I don't really see why you're mentioning another wireless adapter.

the wireless adapter is going into my PC, i dont want to get a router. Basicly, i want to set it up so it goes

cable modem -> router (wired) -> pc -> said wireless card -> wii

but the wii wont recognise my pc
