    question is as follows...
you buy into a table for the max 100bb's and work it up to 300bb's over a period....

does your strategy change because your now deep.. take it your the only one over 100bb's....

the reason I ask is tonight I had a bad start but now have 4 tables with between 200 and 400 bb's in play on each table... I'm still playing the same strategy i normally play but i have a nasty habbit of doubling up guys when i'm deep and leaving with 130 bb's.....

    all advice appreciated..

    Mac

edited: i've just done the above.... wasn't really my fault but 150bb's donked off...

No don't change your strategy at all, the only thing that matters is the effective stack of the hand, as with any hand, i.e. 100BB's against a Shorty, you're just playing for the shorty's stack, which is obviously played differently then 100BB's v 100bb's but 100v100 = 300BB's v 100 BB's.

If an opponent is also equally deep stacked it changes, but otherwise don't change anything. If you find yourself wanting to be table captain ... leave.

I think your strategy should change when you are playing effective deep stacks, i often call with a much wider range against weaker deep stack opponenets, as one pair type hands are less likely to stack off for 300BB as they are for 100. you can call raises on position with hands like 56s+ and all pair hands for set value, focus on position though and dotn slow play anything, bloat the pots with your strong hands getting as much in as possible.
