Just wondering whether anyone has heard anything about Trinity intoducing chinese as a modern language? This is particularly in relation to the business+language degree or the law+language degree.

Well we used to have it (Chinese and business) but closed the course, and I think the last intake of students finished last year. Something to do with the funding being Taiwanese, one of them told me. I haven't heard of a new version, but hope you're right.
