NETELLER questions (new account)

I am in the process of setting up a Neteller account to allow me to transfer money from my Full Tilt account to a new base (and hopefully begin to partake in the boards league and the like) I wonder if any folks can answer some of my query's which are really poker specific as I can't seem to find a FAQ on their own site.

1- The obvious, after all the mayhem of the US departure, is Neteller a stable crowd, I dont expect I will ever have funds 'resting' in the account and will use it to simply transfer funds from one place to another. And if Neteller is questionable, what popular (and recommended) alternatives are available

2- If for example, I have a balance on FT, but no Green Joker balance. What sort of time does it take to transfer to Neteller, have it show up, then deposit to GJP, are we talking hours or days here (naturally in one's own experience only) and are some sites faster than others at utilising Neteller?
Likely sites I will use ATM are GJP, FT, Noble, Stars

3- IIRC there was some debate about selecting the currency during setup to avoid excessive exchange fees? Should I opt for US$ or Euro's during setup and why (will be linked to my Irish bank account)

Thanks in advance for any useful feedback. :)

    1. It should be very stable despite the crap. Esp if you don't intend to leave funds sitting there it should be fine.
    2. From Neteller to sites it should be pretty instanteneous. From sites to Neteller, it should be there next day usually.
    3. Yep, set it up in US$ as otherwise you will incur currency charges every time you transfer from site to neteller or vice versa.

1: They are fine, they're a PLC and here's a link to the companies Yahoo Finance page: http://uk.finance.yahoo.com/q?s=NLR.L

2: As 5Starpool says, Neteller to Site = Instant, Site to Neteller depends on the Site's cashout speed, usually takes a day but the bigger sites Stars, FT can have it done in a few hours if it's not the first cashout (usually takes a little longer, although might have changed as my first cashout on those sites was quite some time ago)

3: $$ is better if you intend on transferring money around, you have to pay FX fees when ever you change currencies, so decide how often you'll be going Neteller to Bank compared to Neteller to Poker Site, and which ever is more use that currency (usually it'll be Neteller to Site so $$)
