I am doing the best man bit for a friends wedding. It will be a small wedding of about 50 people to be held in Rome, with guests attending from Ireland, England, Holland, Bermuda, Egypt and South Africa.

I am looking for a good greeting to welcome the guests from Italy, Holland, Bermuda, Egypt and South Africa with. Any help is welcome, phonetics would be great

I can write the Italian version.

How many words? 50-60 or more?
The italian guests are from Rome?

    Bye-

Thanks Gavin, I am just basically looking for a short welcome message in each of the different languages. For the Italian - Benvenuti, followed by a couple of words. I dont know if there is the Cead Mile Failte Romhat equivalent in Italian, or something specific the the Romans would say.

The Dutch and Afrikans greetings I found were just the basic "welkom" and that would not really distinguish itself within the speech, hence the need for help!

So, any natives or fluent speakers from the above list of countries out there, let me know how you would greet someone in your native tongue

You can put the words (in red) or pieces of word in this site and listen to the right pronunciation.

    You are Welcome. :)

If you have time, try to add "Ciao a Tutti". It's easy. ;)
