    Two very special women, both taken on the fly over the weekend, would like any feedback - not sure if they are too dark so any comments welcome

    great expressions and character on both faces, but the processing is a bit too yellow for me

    Focus, composition and lighting all seem fine - but I'd agree that the processing is too yellow.

    thanks everyone for the comments, i will look into removing that yellowish cast later, I am awful for colours..I dont really see it until someone points it out then i compare it to others and i can sort of see it...for arguments sake - it was intentional to give a nice warming glow;)

    They're great portraits, loads of character and history in those faces. They dont' seem too yellow to me, but there again I'm looking on a MacBook which has a cooler (slightly bluish) tone. Maybe that's cancelling out any yellow, but as I said it's not apparent to me.

    both excellent quality and expression, i think the 2nd one is perfect , the first one the crop is a bit tight on the forehead .

    The lady in the first portrait looks the image of an old lady that was friends with my gran - she died 3 years back. Really weird... I'm gonna have to show my parents!

    I really like the portraits, but I do prefer the tone in the second one to the first. :)

    Thanks to all for the comments, its hard to know with the colours, does anyone work off the colour histogram? Visually i am not the best with them so maybe i should look at it from a more technical aspect. I can be pretty bad at having green running through images that stands out to everyone else..henice my fondness for Black and White..Thanks anyway for taking the time..
