Can i claim dole?

    Here an interesting question. I quit my job two months ago and have set up my own limited company now and have been operating for a week now. I probably should have claimed dole the last two months and i know you can back claim but can i do it now in my position. As i said i havent registerd yet as an employee so im technically unemployed but i am a director.

    Well if you voluntarily left a job you can't claim dole for six weeks ( I think)

    If you were made redundant it's a different story

    you cant back claim the dole, when you make a claim it usually takes between a week or two depending on whether you bring along the necessary information which is P45, Passport and a utility bill, it's grim stuff in the dole and mostly immigrants, im currently out of work but should hopefully be back soon (i hope)

    Even if you did leave a job NEVER say that to them or you'll have to wait a lot longer to get money put of the cun*s, if your really stuck go to your local health centre and see the "relieving officer"(as they are called) and tell them your stuck badly for money while your waiting for your dole claim to come through remembering to bring all the necessary information with you and they should sort you out but may well want to call to your house.

    Remember though you actually have to go to your local dole office and physically make a claim in order to get paid, you will NOT get back pay unless you have already made a claim.

    And by the way tell them nothing about your company or you'll get nothing, you may as well get a few weeks pay off the fuc**rs anyway.

    Hello,

    I have a Question about claiming the Dole...

    I have to leave my job due to Job Stress/experience bullying...I've been stressing out, have interpersonal issues due to all these issues at work...

    Yes I'm married but I cant stay at my job due to poor issues at work...I dont know what else to do but leave my job??

    These issues have been going on for almost 6months and my 3 bosses & 2 CEO's of the company all know about what is going on but still nothing has changed...So in 7 days I will no long have a job...

    I'm been looking for a new job since Nov '09, but still I have not found another job...

    If anyone knows what I would be entitled(Dole) to that would really help me as I have never claimed Dole before...
