The residents of Westbrook Balbriggan are holding a public meeting with Fingal County Council on Wednesday 20th June at 4pm to discuss the proposed walkways between the estate and Moylaragh.

On the original plans of the estate the edge of the green area which is currently trees and bushes is suppose to be a wall. Now the developer whichs to create walkways between the estate and this is not on.

If you live in the estate you probably already got a leaflet in your door and if you can make this meeting please attend.

2 faced Moylaragh residents. they don't want people using their estate for access but don't like it when other people protest.

bit of a difference between a "proposed walkway" and a narrow residential street being used as a main road for several other estates and a shopping centre

The only reason it is narrow is that the residents park their cars on the road and do not leave enough room for cars to safely pass each other.

Most of them don't have driveways though, so where should they park their cars? (I don't live in Moylaragh, but I can see their point)

They are parking their cars there in order to slow down traffic and as a form of protest as their road was supposed to be a cul-de-sac. It's annoying but I can see their point of view.
