Just wondering what people consider the best way to clean lenses.
A friend of mine only uses cotton buds and saliva lovely

I user a rocket blower for general dusting and a little wipe for whatever is left

I bought "Monster Screen Cleaner", which is designed for LCD, TV and lenses. It works just great. Mind you, I'd only really have to clean real dirty once a month or so. Generally it's just dust that I'd use a blower to blow off.

I have a very soft brush which is designed for cleaning lens and I use a microfibre cloth for any stains

I use a Rocket blower and a lens pen. Very handy.

Me too. I invert the lens and brush off any dust and grit, then breathe on the front optic and use the cloth to polish the glass in a circular pattern from centre to edge.
