    hello i just got a ps3 today i have it all set up but i cant get sound over hdmi will any old hdmi do the job or do i have to get one for the ps3.

    Anyone will do.

    Have a look in the settings for Audio and make sure its set to HDMI

    ye i had a look at the settings and set it to hdmi when i use the hdmi and the scart r&w it works ok

    also when i play a bluray movie i get thins green line arownd the screen but its not there when i play a game

    ye i got the latest firmware i have a hdmi dvd player ans i can get sound on that

    have you allowed soundtracks such as dolby etc? ... there is no reason why it wouldnt work mate ... must be somthing in settings?

    depends what your tv/monitor/projector can take mate
