Magnet Questions - 42" LCD

Hi, I just got a 42" LCD (Full HD).

I have NTL 'Digital' and the picture is rubbish.

I'm thinking of moving to Magnet (more so cause of NTL's bad service than anything else).

1. Has anyone tried Magnet on a large lcd screen?
2. Looking through the list of channels in the Upgrade package - Sky one isn't on the list. Can someone confirm Sky one isn't available with Magnet?
3. I live in Lucan, does anyone else here live in Lucan and use Magnet? How do you have the broadband coverage?
4. Whats Magnets customer care like?

Magnet is worse and a smaller selection.

Sky & Magnet don't talk to each other, No Sky1

DVDs or Satellite dish is your best bet.

I too had NTL until recently and moved to a Magnet area. There is no Sky 1 or Sky News but they recently added more channels and they have Sky movies and sports. NTL have a better selection of channels, tbh Magnet have most of channels I used to watch anyways.

As regards reception Magnet is far superior, on my Philips 37" with NTL the pixelation was horrid where as Magnet is excellent.

I was surprised when I got it installed but I am in a ftth area though.;)

A lot of people have Magnet via DSL and it has not enough bandwidth for quality as good as NTL.

Also if your NTL signal is poor it may increase pixelation.

And if you had NTL over MMDS it would have invariably been a bad signal.

I have magnet over Fibe optic cable and am extremly impressed with the service.

thye recently doubled the amount of channels they have.

still missing sky one/nmews. i emailed them and they said that they are in negotiations with sky to show these channels.

broadband is excellent 4meg up and down.
