How do you get album covers to display on iPod?

I know you can automatically get them by opening an iTunes Store account, but i don't have a credit card, so can't do that.

If I have an album cover, I can add it individually to a song on iTunes by just copying and pasting the artwork into the little "artwork place" in the bottom left hand corner....however I haven't found a way of adding artwork to more than one song at once.

Is there any way to do this? It takes ages to copy and paste to each individual song.

    Thanks.

Highlight the tracks you want, ie an album.
Right click and choose "get info"
Drag your album art into the square white box in the info screen.

or get a program called 'itunes art importer.' basically open it while you use itunes and click whatever needs to be clicked. cant remember what exactly, been a while since i used it. Its pretty good, finds the artwork and puts it in for you. should be able to find it pretty handy on t'interweb.
way easier than doing it all yourself!

i've heard of issues where it doesn't put in the right art, or sometimes no art at all... then you have to check and make sure its all good.... I dunno, sorta takes away from the ease really

as far as i remember, there are options for avoiding this. You can set it to show you all possible matches before it imports, whereby you select the relevant/best artwork. The only time i had trouble was with irish/non-mainstream stuff when i was too lazy to sit through and click a picture for each one.

Yeah thats why I add all my own album art to each album, much quicker and no mistakes.
