    Blindly backing the top rated horse used to be profitable, but not anymore due to the amount of people doing it. Tweak a few variables here and there and there is still money to be made.

    Cheers man, but how does lots of people blindly backing the top rated horse make it non-profitable? What kind of variables would you look at?

    It's simple economics really, the more demand to back a horse, the lesser the price hence the less profitable in the long run.
