Experienced Drummer seeks Galway musicians / band

    Hi All
    My search continues for a collection of musically gifted people to jam/gig with in Galway, can't believe it's this hard to find people who need a decent drummer *head inflates
    For those who missed it the first time: mature (30 ish) drummer with 16 years experience playing most every kind of music (Reggae to Metal) looking for committed original rock band for gigs/recording.

    Hi Karl

    Have honestly played everything, with a preference for rock/metal type stuff. Was in a signed ska-reggae punk band back in the day so I'm pretty well versed in the ins and outs of the biz.
    Influences.....influences.......
    At the mo I've been drawn towards progressive metal type stuff.....Opeth, Gojira, Dream Theater.
    As for long held influences.......weaned on a diet of Megadeth and co during the early 90's, got into Neil Young (Weld era) and The Pixies, only to lead to the aforementioned Punk thing (SubHumans, Citizen Fish, Conflict) which then led to a mellowing period, where I stopped playing for a bit and went to college for a while and I guess that's where I'm coming from now (i.e. All of that!!)
    Have tried getting together with guys I've met here twice and both times they turned out to be total beginners, which is great for them but I really need to get together with some guys who know what they're doing

    Anyway P.M. me if you have a need for a drummer or know someone who has :)
