Cavan supporters to Tyrone supporters in 2005, "If you rather be a Euro than a pound"

Come on you boys in Blue. (original eh?! ;) )

Oollllie Murphy, is a wanker, is a wanker...

Hello! Hello! We are the Breffni Boys. Hello! Hello! We are the Breffni Boys. And if you are a Meath fan and you throw stones at our cars. We don't care, we will follow the Breffni's.

    Along with "Larry/Jelly/Dermo/Jayo's gonna geeeeeeetcha"

Fair play to the lone Meath supporter in the Big Tree, beer garden, who took this song very well.

    "Sheep sh*gging b*stards, you're only sheep sh*gg*n b*st*rds!"

I think he joined in as well. The poor polish dude with the Meath jersey on didn't know what to do though.

Or as us Leitrim lads would say

"I'd rather be a (Person of pakistani origin) than a Ross!"

Oh don't worry I wouldn't be seen singing such an insulting song!
I'm just saying I'm was on the hill and this song was being sung! I didn't join in, or laugh, honestly!

I always prefer hearing real songs on the hill, the likes of "Dublin in the rare ol times" and "molly malone".

As for the chant Geraghty beats his wife etc his wife should just give him a bit of a push in the chest - he'd be on the ground for about 10 minutes.

Im with you there clg23. I remember last year, i think at the Dublin V Westmeath game they got through about 1 verse and a chorus of The Rare Auld Times which i think is the most i have ever heard sung there. Was great to sing along with that. Also, great buzz coming out of the Hill on Sunday. Naturally only one song being sung (Cumon you boys in blue, in case you didnt guess it ;) ) but you really do miss days like that after September (or usually August for us Dubs:( ).
