    Just thought it was time for a reminder of this website with everyone about to travel over - http://www.allvegaspoker.com/

    It has great reviews of all poker rooms. I particularly like the different ratings he gives i.e. for the room (if you want good surroundings), standard of player (where to find the fish), the waitresses (if you just want a good view and your drinks fast), management and comps.

    Also the site has a full rundown of all daily tourneys - http://www.allvegaspoker.com/tournaments.php - complete with structure, normal amount of players etc.

    Very surprised at how bad the structure is in a lot of the tourneys.

    e.g, Luxor $62 + $13.
    15 minute clock, starting stack 350 (yes 350) with blind levels of
    15/25
    25/50
    50/100
    100/200
    200/400
    400/800
    800/1600
    1600/3200

    or Harrahs $100 + $15.
    15 minute clock, 3000 stack with blind levels of
    25/50
    50/100
    75/150
    100/200
    200/400
    400/800
    500/1000
    800/1600
    1000/2000
    1500/3000
    2000/4000
    3000/6000
    5000/10000
    10000/20000
    15000/30000.

    The Flamingo for all its tourneys goes
    25/50 50/100, 100/200, 200/400, 500/1000, 1000/2000, 2000/4000, 4000/8000, 8000/16000 which is just too dismal for words (from 200/400 to 500/1000 :) )

    Horrid structures, 15%+ rake (some 20%+). Are we spoiled in Ireland ?
