I have a new theroy on who the 5hh cylon is and i think im right [maybe spoilers]

Ok just started to re-watch maelstrom and i got this idea

The final cylon is Kara Thrace's mother

it explains everything about kara, she is the first human cylon hybrid the 7 dont know about the 5 which is why hey believe hera to be the 1st.

Kara's mother always told her how special she is and how she is different that other kids

Kara is an amzing shot and a very skilled and efficient person,

She is a human cylon hybrid and her mother is the 5th cylon

i ment he 5th cylon from the final 5, we know of 7 cylons for definate and we have been told about 11 of them assuming of coarse that the info is true would make her the 5th cylon from the final 5 of which we know 4 of already...

I also find myself repeatedly drawn to what Leoben said early on: Adama is a Cylon. He could be lying, but he has been right with a lot of things before and he seems very deliberate with everything he says. Though him knowing that Adama is a Cylon wouldn't be congruent with what we know about the 7 Cylons and the final five.

Maybe but Starbucks mother according to the back story fought in the first cyclon war so I dunno what that makes her maybe she knew these other cylons where bad news.

They still have to explain how the final 5 came about as well as they didn't just roll off an assembly line.

I'm more inclined to think its Roslin or Starbuck from the visual clue the president had when they jumped in and she got a major headache for a moment plus the whole caprica six and sharon/hera in the theater business.

For starbuck because of the whole your special thing & the fact they said in the episode commentary for the end of season 3 that Starbuck is one of those head spirits but they changed the location she appears at the end (the original point was Lee's cabin when he grabs his flight suit) if those spirits are cylons of some kind or another.

Saul fought in two wars, and we're supposed to believe he's a cylon..

The music was a trigger for them to wake up, and I'm guessing they collectively triggered some kind of homing signal for the cylon fleet with their awakening ?

As for cylon human hybrids.. if the chief is a cylon that makes his kid a hybrid too.. but then only Hera is getting special attention? hmm

I'm with Komo on this one.. It's not utterly convincing.

Nowhere in the episode does anything actually confirm there are. It's their assumption which is leading us, nothing says they can't have a shared destiny in finding earth, as the chief has shown when he found the eye on the algea planet.

What we have is the Chief and 3 others in the room when he states what they are obviously all wresting with "we're cylons?!?!" From tv.com :

When they lock eyes with each other, they guess the obvious but horrifying explanation for the mental summons that they've obeyed: they must all be Cylons.

After all that you could argue that it was the Chief's cylon imperative that lead him to go exploring.. him being a final 5 and with the draw / visions that both Deanna and Baltar had.

I don't want Tigh to turn toaster.. but it would make for compelling viewing!

Tigh is a great actor - more so with what the charactor has had to do this season and the worse all the actors look in stress and age just adds to the show
