They're both between 60-90 mins from the centre, and a city bus runs from both. Do a google .....and fly into the cheapest!

If time is on your side having been to both I would definitly prefer girona.
My spanish friend suggested we spend a few hours wandering around the town as she had heard it was a lovely town.
Girona is a beautiful place to explore for a day. gorgeous old part of the town, nice bars and cafes.
I then got a train into barca centre, no more than an hour.perfect

Reus was just full of the 'costa' holiday makers..mad busy etc.

But if you just want to use it to get to barca then i would go with the cheapest option

Ryanair don't fly to Barcelona. Try clickair.com. Spains version of ryanair
