    Hey all,

I bought concert tickets on ebay. Their coming from the UK. They were marked as Priorty Mail and signed for.

The problem is their being delivered to my house but I won't be there to sign for them. What happens when the postman comes and there's nobody there to sign for them??

The concert is on next Sunday in the UK so I'm starting to get a little worried.

You'll probably have to pick them up in the local post office.

The postman will drop a receipt in the letterbox and you'l have to pick it up from the local post office and sign for it.

If I left at note telling him its ok unsigned on the letterbox would that work??

I work 9-5 so I wouldn't get the chance to go to the local post office. And worse case scenario is the tickets come on friday, postman leaves a receipt to collect at post office, I get home at 6 and see the receipt and I fly out 7am Saturday morning!!

    !
You could try ringing the post office and asking them, but i wouldnt rely on leaving a note for him.

Unfortunately no. If it's a registered letter then the postman has to get a signature regardless of what you say. When was it posted? If it was posted on Friday then I'd expect a registered to arrive no later than Wednesday. You can sign the failed delivery docket over to someone else to collect for you too.
