is it ever possible to discover the pin number of a sim card without any help from a provider? is it possible to unlock it like with a phone's security code?

if you have the piece of paper the sim came with it'll have the puk code which can be entered after the pin has been entered wrong too many times. otherwise no

oh ok, i didn't think it was easily done. There's a only a 60% success rate with cloning sims as well, I presume something similar would transfer over to trying to unlock sims?
