I am worried by the amount of data mining online with players using tools such as poker tracker especially as I am planning to move up a couple of levels. My paranoia is such that I feel reluctant to play. Are there any sites out there that dont support pokertracker, sharkscope and such that I might safely play on ?

What levels do you play?, i dont know of a site that poker tracker is banned on but i wouldnt be too worried lots of people use it and moreso better players but an awful lot more players dont use it. As long as your using it yourself youll be able to identify good player and bad players and just dont get involved with people with good stats unless your comfortable and play lots of pots with the bad players in position and use the stats against them. You know what they say if you cant beat them join them

Datamining is impossible on Cryptologic. Its also banned on Pokerstars (it is possible), though you can keep all hhs from tables you play.

Cryptologic it is then ,thanks ianmc38.I play a wide range of games, for NL Holdem I play no higher than $1/2 at present dvdfan.I am aware of how powerful an aid Pokertracker is,but I dont have it and wish to avoid those who do.

Why is this? Surely screenscraping is possible? Can you give me a site URL?

I don't think Bodog allows PT mining, the hand histories aren't compatible, not 100% though.

more equipped perhaps, not necessarily better..

anyway.. you should be embracing the mining OP, and whatever other edges added software allows.. as somebody else said, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em etc..
