Why the recent fixtures?

I really dont understand why the recent fixtures have taken place

    Australia vs Fiji and Wales

    S.Africa vs Samoa and England

even Ireland vs Argentina (although these were two 2nd string squads)

why has everyone been playing their WC oppponents? this doesent happen in football before a WC, they play similar teams in the build up i.e the aussies playing Samoa instead of Fiji and the South Africans likewise. You would think that both teams would also want to limit the amount of time their world cup opponents hav to see lineout calls etc.. up close. it doesent make sense to me, even if these fixtures were organised pre world cup groups being drawn its a huge co-inceidence, so why the recent fixtures?

The southern hemisphere teams are have started there Tri-Nations yesterday, the touring sides are a warm up for them, aswell as a chance for the sides who are touring to experiment and try some new players! Australia wales same group in world cup, england sth. africa same group world cup...and ireland argentina same group!

All the teams feilded by touring sides were experimental...there are still several friendlys ahead of the northern hemisphere teams in august before world cup, and the tri nations is there own warm up!

I wouldnt agree with this statement, as I believe the unions have travelled because well there is no1 left to play in the norther hemisphere really that would put up such a challange as africa/aus/nz...

All in all, touring has been a part of rugby union and most sports since it started, it helps with team building, squad progression and also helps to unearth new players and hopefully stars of the future!

of course they would tour and of course they were experimental northern hemisphere sides but why play the teams you have in the WC why didnt S.Afr just have australia's fixtures for example, that would have made more sense to me.

Fixtures were made before groups were known for world cup...
