Hi guys was wondering if some of you could advise me, I badly sprainged my ankle yesterday(very swollen and black), and am having difficulty walking never mind running, can anyone tell me firstly how long should I stay off it from a running point of view, not that I do much about 6 kms 3 times a week but I am finding that it is keeping me in shape, and secondly what exercise should I do instead in the meantime ?? I do go to the gym twice a week as it is should I just up it to 5 times ??

Any help would be appreciated ;)

try swimming instead while your ankle is injured.

You might require crutches and rest, I'd look for professional advice tbh.
