Smallish update

    I got married.

I was hired as a photographer.

    I bought a Spyder.

That was the short version. I started at Cashman today, after a thoroughly anti-climatic interview. I turned up for the meeting on Monday with a printed portfolio, my laptop and a resume, only to be told they liked my online portfolio, handed starter forms, and informed that I should come back later in the day.

At this point I have no idea of my specific duties other than that I'll be photographing in restaurants and events on the Strip.

I also finally coughed up for a Spyder 2 (40 dollars used on Ebay!), and did a sample print run that came out perfectly, so I can finally start a print store.

    Congratulations on all three.
Is it ok for me to be a bit smug over this?

Congrats on the nuptials, but please tell me these were two unrelated events.

I wanted to do this last year at my own wedding to save a few bob, actually lots of bob, but was warned off (rightly too) by the missus... :D

Not at all - it's been easier and faster to send someone a link to a site than it is to download a Xmb PDF file.

Why would you want to do anything in PDF?

By the way, I was only joking above. ;)
