    No Surprises there then.... ;)
Being an animal lover myself and having a girlfriend that is with the
local welfare group it scary the things people dont know about these
Pet Food crowds. Quite a few were found to be causing cruelty to animals
for testing or they hired 3rd party companies to perform their animal testing
for them funny when you thing all the advertising they do is based on
keeping your animals fit as fiddles.

If it was feed the animals food and see if they are happy as Larry
all would be ok, But tis the tests that cause the animals death or injury
is what the average joe soap Pet owner does not know about etc.

Its the way the tests are carried out what the test are and the
way the animals are stored/kept/treated is whats in question.

I'm not pro or anti animal testing.
I am wise enough to know some not so nice tests are needed
but I dont have to like it.

When ya surf for information a lot of the anti and
animal lover sites on the web are very extreme
and only show one side of the story.

I am not gonna post links or anthing
as poeple can look the info up and decide
    for themselves what their views
    are without causing arguements.
some of the sites could also be anti-hunting
so may cause offence to the hunters here and
dont want to cause any grief or aggitate anyone.

Might wake people up to the like of Hills and Eukenuba - 15kg bag for €54 - that's what I see them charging in that Maxipet place or whatever it's called - that's a crazy price!
About €15 in the co-op for RedMills.

I bet it won't stop the vets trying to flog this stuff to clients either.

I pay 49 euro for a 15 kg bag of Burns. Its worth it in my opinion... It works out at about 1 euro per dog per day... or cheaper.
When compared with the price of tins of crappy Pedigree Chum, its very reasonable, and the dogs (both lurchers) look fantastic. I'm sure the Red Mills stuff is grand too, but in my case, its not broken so I'm not going to try and fix it. I'm happy enough to pay what I'm paying.
