Teaching adults?

I'm an English graduate, I've done a bit of p/t teaching for Dublin VEC and TEFL teaching but I'm not sure what I want to do (I currently work in admin). I'd like to get into teaching adults - I've no interest whatsoever in teaching children. So just wondering, are there many career ops for people like me? I don't have the h dip but I'm toying with the idea if there were decent career opportunities.

    Any advice appreciated.

Maynooth do a range of adult education qualifications, along with the H Dip, might be worth looking at their website.

Keep an eye on the papers in July/August - that's when third-level colleges start looking for part-time staff for evening courses.

Thanks Tom. Is adult ed pretty much a part-time affair?

    For me it is. :)

Though outside of the universities/colleges I am sure there are plenty of day-time courses. I suppose it's just a case of finding your niche.
