    Why the question?

    The most important thing in a relationship is trust, once it's gone, so is the relationship, so why risk it?

    Plus, my bf's the hunkiest guy on the planet, so why'd I want 2nd best when I've already got the best!!! :D

    Was only ever recommended to have an affair by work colleagues as a means of getting my h2b's attention if GAA training etc. was overly- prioritised over quality time together.

    I had an affair when I was with my ex wife. We weren't mrried then, and I wasn'r sure if she was the one for me. After she found out, and I confessed, she stiull wanted me and I decided that if she still wanted me then she must really love me. But I would NEVER have an affair now - my g/f AND her brothers would kill me! Also I can't keep a secret! LOL

    I have had lots of affairs in my head but thats where I want them to stay - ummm i love my imagination :D

    Its natural to be attracted to other people but imo so not worth risking a good relationship, not to mention the hurt it would cause, just for a whimsical bit of fun.

    If I was really unhappy enough to seriously consider having an affair then i would be doing some talking with the other half to try get things back on track and leaving him if things couldnt be worked out.

    Then Id go have my bit lol ;)

    I think it is the ultimate betrayal. I consider myself a very loyal person, and I expect the same from others. Why bother getting married if your going to do this? If, further down the line things aren't right, leave him/her and then fool around.

    I don't understand this at all. Why get married at all if you'd consider an affair?

    If you think you might cheat on your boyfriend / girlfriend / fiancé / fiancée, then you shouldn't be considering marriage. Plain and simple. Shocking, really.

    A bloke who betrays his friends for his own end is a dog. So if you marry someone for the reasons your meant to well then they are your best friend and if you betray them you are also a dog.

    Its all a case of what you think your word is worth.
