    Hi,

i was wondering if there are still any Citroën GSs about... Probably only a handful in the country, I'd say... I know of one in Dublin and one somewhere in county Limerick... And mine of course :-)

    Cheers

    Hi 2cv

There's mine, but you know about that one.
I know of a red GSA in daily use in Walkinstown
And a bronze one owned by CxCully (of this site)
And another red GSA with 250000 miles in daily use in Co. Clare (these French cars don't last at all, do they? )

    Hya,
I know about yours yes... Still haven't seen it though :-)
The other ones you were talking about were all GSAs. I was specifially looking for GSs :-)
And the one in Co. Clare you were talking about, i think it has over 300k mls on the clock. It's Maurice's one isn't it?

    Cheers

cxcully's bronze one is a GS Pallas from 1978. You may have seen it in a couple of newspapers around Jan/Feb :o

    Oui,la GS,c'est a moi.
Just about to get her back from Freddie Vaugh in Ferbane.Mechanically grand but a few dings in the bodywork which Freddie says will be expensive if you want them done right....I'll deal with those next year!
2cV....any excuse for a spin,I must meet up with you-you're down south,I believe.
ds20-won't make Kilkenny this year but am going to Galashiels in the GS for the Scottish meet July 21st-there's an intriguing festival close by on the same weekend based on the film "The Wickerman".Unsettling film...but not as unsettling as crashing a beautiful GS!

We'll have to have a little GS meet. I'll be getting the bodywork done on my GS Special in July (I hope!)

Here's a little pic until then

Wow, 4 GSs :-))) Actually 5, because i have 2 :-) I've a 1978 GS Club 1220 and a 1980 GS Spécial (which i'm keeping for parts). We could actually arrange something for the summer at my house in West Cork. Great location, great views, nice restaurants close by, perfect spot i'd say!!! ;-)

There are two in Cork city, one was usually at a roundabout near Centre Park Road, I think the owner was working in the warehouse adjacent to it and the other I spotted on the South Link Road last year, both of these cars are GSA and are both with original Irish regs.
