I am using Ntl's MMDS service and need to split the serice in the house. The normal splitters (5-1000mhz) dont work as they dont allow power to pass through like ntl's one. You get a little black electric box with one of the pace boxes which I presume feeds juice up to the ariel for it to send a signal. When I put a normal splitter on the line it wont allow this juice up to the ariel and hence does not work. I have tried all the usual suspects (Peats/Maplins) but they only seem to do the basic one. Maplins have one in their catalogue but it seems to be for sat. So I am wondering can anyone tell me where the pro's get their kit around Dublin. Pic below is of the Ntl's one which is in the box on the side of the house, not a great picture but its raining today:rolleyes:
