Modern rock band?!?!?!?!

    Yeah, lookin to put together a modern rock band, original material, into all kinds of rock but wanna do somethin contemporary. Influences would be Velvet Revolver, GnR, Audioslave, soundgarden, Foo Fighters, QOTSA, 18 Visions, Papa Roach(new stuff), Three days grace, Breaking Benjamin, Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet For My Valentine. That kinda vein but original material.
    Im Guitarist, would also be vox.
    Im 19 yold, based in dublin.
    Im working on writing songs at the moment.
    Obviously lookin for drums, bass, second guitar.
    Has to rock, has to be serious too.
    If this is somethin you'd be interested in.............

    Hey yeah well id want to be doin ryhthm,so i assume you mean you play lead better, thats what im lookin for. But most of the songs id write wouldnt necessarily have big solos in them, its more about the melodys and riffs.
    What age are you?

    good luck to you, do you know a certain majority of musicians when they hear you are dublin based are not interested.Why is that?

    Maybe they're not from Dublin, I don't know.
    But seriously this is a zombie thread, I posted this like 2 years ago, I have since formed a band, achieved super-stardom, became addicted to drugs, went into rehab, relapsed, then band broke up after dodgy charity release, and I now live back at home with my parents...
