Anyone remember these? I think you could buy them in the pound shops, they were clear plastic, with half of the watch filled with red horizontal channels you poured tap water into. The watch would then run for about a week on the water itself. I'm nearly certain Edmunds Scientific made them.

Or the Casio Radio Watches Texaco used to give away with tokens. Headphone socket on the right, and a wheel on the face you'd use to tune in the stations. I miss old school tech!

I remember the Water Watches. Cheap and clear looking they sold for
4-6 Pounds. They were sold in the Joke Shops and the packaging
said "Beer Watch" as it advertised it ran off of beer or water.

I could have Sworn the Radio Watches were from Casio but I cannot
find a picture of them anyplace. The closeed I can find is here:

The Texaco ones came out Twice. The first watches had the bigger headphones
with the Orange padding on them. The 2nd Batch came with the smaller
earbud like headphones as seen in the pics.

Some other blasts from the past can be found here:

I think that's it. I could have sworn it was Casio too, but the one you've linked to is too familiar to be dismissed. Memory lane!
