Fat Burners

Ok so ive been out of the gym for nearly 7 weeks now due to illness and then exams. In that time my bodyfat has definitly gone up i'd say im about 15-16 now and i was around the 12-13 mark.

Starting a summer job next week and plan and cycling to and from the office so that should be 40mins cardio everyday along with weight a 3 day split.

Now to get to the point i was considering taking some kind of fat burner to help in the process, ideally id like to get to 10% in about 8 weeks...is this realistic? Also could anyone reccomend a fat burner, ive been looking at hotrox or ripped fuel?

    Any input much appreciated.

I wouldn't bother with fat burners. I tried HotRox which are meant to be one of the best ones, and it felt like I was on Ecstacy, or BZP. I was out of my face at work all the time on them, so only lasted a few days on the things. Unfortunately being hungry is the only option if you want to cut down your intake, you just have to deal with it.

Odd question, but you’re a girl right? I have noticed that for whatever reason females have a stronger adverse reaction to Hot Rox than males?

With regard to fat burners my belief is that you need to use them rarely, and only in times when your calories are so low that you are getting energy boost ( mental and physical ) from them and appetite suppresion as well. I don't really hold with prolonged use of fatburners but a limited period would be fine in my view.

I had great success with Hot Rox Xtreme but I REALLY like Lipo Six, which you can pick up in Micks shop on Camden Street. I have also heard good things about a product called Venom from Alri, though it seems to be very, very strong.

was given this link by a guy over on bodybuilding.com

    http://www.creatinestore.co.uk/products/Sida_Cordifolia_Complex.asp

would a fat burner with ephedra in it be more effective such as this one?

I'll be honest and say that I don't know a whole lot about 'Fat burning' products, and have never taken them.
I would imagine they work somewhat similar to a lot of Diet Pills, which I have never taken either (open to correction here).
I doesn't sound like the OP is competitive bodybuilder, or has any particular sporting need to reduce body fat so quick.

I would just urge you to do some research first into any potential side effects the products you are taking might have. Then weigh this against what you are trying to achieve - and if it wouldn't be better to work hard and achieve the same results over a longer period of time. It's your choice obviously, and lots of people think it's worth it - but it doesn't do any harm to be as informed as possible.

Got it in a nutrition shop in Dun Laoghaire in Dublin,G'em posted the website for it a while back i cant remember what the URL is. Got it for 50 yo's i think, around that.

I've been on it for nearly 2 weeks, it does suppress your apetite a fair bit, u do get energy from it (ive been working a lot of 12 hour shifts lately).
Its kinda hard to stay in work tho (work in a shop) especially when your on cashier, your kinda bouncing around all the time. Just want to do something. Makes me real chatty aswell.

Im a bit skeptical of its fat burning qualities though, im pretty sure i would have gotten the results ive gotten so far from diet alone. ( i did last time i went on a cut, thought this might accelerate it a bit) BUT it is only 2 weeks in and i think im gonna up my dosage to 2 a day so we'll see what happens, ill keep you posted!

    hey guys,

I have just begun taking hydroxycut max. i would normally have quite a good metabolism, and my biggest fear with the hydroxycuts is that they will mess up my metabolism. does anyone have any advice or know whether they slow your metabolism right down when you stop taking them?
