I'm pretty happy about this. Big signing for Forest and will probably help an already strong squad push for promotion and have that steele lacking in the second half of the season just gone.

That said, raises some interesting questions about Lennon. If rumours were to be believed Roy Keane was interested in taking him to Sunderland along with interest from several other Premiership and Championship clubs. I find it hard to believe he'd choose a League 1 club over others, no matter how much history or how big the club (not that Forest are big).

Do you reckon it was just a case of getting more games in, or are Lennon's legs gone and he doesn't fancy the pace of the higher leagues. OR, did noone else come in for him?

Either way, still happy with him.

Well he'll certainly double the amount of sideways passing in the forest team. :)

Ermmm wasn't it the City Ground upgrades for Euro '96 that ultimately screwed us over?

    Can they afford this?

No it was David Pratt and that money he threw down a drain that did it I think ;)

.... I don't know how they are funding this, I think Forest have to pay a % but most of it is coming from the Council, it sounds like they want to develop the area that the City ground is on at the moment, and the new place will be a brand new town (6-7,000 new homes, new tram and train station etc etc)
